Kia Key: Kia India has teased its new SUV Kia Clavis, which will fill the space between Seltos and Sonet in the Indian market. This affordable SUV is part of the company's “Kia 2.0” strategy and will take design inspiration from larger models like the Kia EV9 and Carnival Limousine.

Design and look

The design of Kia Clavis will be quite unique and attractive. It will be offered with L-shaped LED tail lamps, vertical LED daytime running lights, and functional roof rails. Its front look will be quite premium, while the tail section will be boxy and muscular. This SUV may also be known as Ciros in the Indian market and will be launched in the sub-four-meter category.

Kia Clavis: Features

Clavis will have a number of premium features, including:

• Sunroof and ventilated front seats
• Automatic climate control and ambient lighting

• 6 Airbags and ADAS technology

Kia Clavis is expected to be launched with two engine options:

• 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine
• 1.5-litre diesel engine

It can be offered with 6-speed iMT and 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of Kia Clavis being launched in EV (electric) version.
