Kia India: Kia Motors will launch 10 new models by 2030, strong entry in EV and hybrid segment

Kia India Roadmap: South Korean auto company Kia has prepared its new long-term roadmap for India, in which there will be a special focus on hybrid and electric vehicles. At the 2026 CEO Investor Day, the company confirmed that it will launch 10 new models in India by 2030, of which at least 8 will be electrified (EV/Hybrid).

Kia Sorento Hybrid: the new premium SUV
The most special name in this plan is that of Kia Sorento, which will be a new model in India and will be positioned above Kia Seltos in the company’s portfolio. This will be a three-row SUV, which is available in the global market with a combination of 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine and electric motor, which generates around 224 bhp power. Talking about the features, it will get premium features like dual screen setup, ventilated seats, head-up display and panoramic sunroof. Its length will be more than 4.8 meters, which will provide better space.

Kia Carnival Hybrid: More mileage, same luxury
Hybrid version of Kia Carnival can also be launched in India. Currently, it is available in India with a diesel engine, but a hybrid version with 1.6-litre turbo-petrol + electric motor is also available in the global market. It is expected to have better fuel efficiency, while the features and layout will remain almost the same.

Kia Syros EV: New EV with 490KM range
The company is also preparing to launch Kia Syros EV in India. This EV, seen during testing, can get 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery options, which can give a range of up to 490 km. Its design will be boxy and tallboy style.

big sales target
Kia aims to achieve annual sales of 4.1 lakh units and market share of about 7.6% by 2030. For this, the company is planning to increase its dealer network to 800 outlets. Overall, this roadmap of Kia is being considered a big step towards gaining a strong foothold in the EV and hybrid segment in India.
