Kia Sonet Facelift crosses 1 lakh sales mark, demand for Sunroof increases

Obnews Automobile Desk: Kia India's popular model Sonet facelift has achieved an important milestone. Launched in January 2024, 1 lakh units of this model have been sold. Kia Sonet, launched for the first time in 2020, has made its own special place in the sub-four meter SUV segment. Its sales momentum continued with the introduction of the facelift version earlier this year. Kia India said that from January 2024 till now, more than 9,000 units of Sonet facelift are being sold every month.

Kia has revealed customer preferences regarding the engine options of the Sonet. 76 per cent customers choose the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol or 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, while 24 per cent customers opt for the 1.5-litre diesel engine.
Additionally, 79 percent of customers preferred the sunroof variant, while 34 percent of buyers chose the automatic transmission or Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT).

Price and Variants

Prices for the Kia Sonet facelift start from ₹7.99 lakh and go up to ₹15.77 lakh (ex-showroom).
