Auto Desk. Kia India has started the production of its second sub-4 meter compact SUV Syros. This vehicle is being manufactured at the company's manufacturing plant in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. Recently the first customer unit has been rolled off the assembly line.
Booking and Launch
Pre-booking: Booking for Syros started from January 3, 2025, and 10,258 units have been booked so far.
Price: The official price of the vehicle will be announced on 1 February 2025.
Delivery: Deliveries are expected to begin immediately after launch.
Design and exterior
Kia Syros is built on the K1 platform. These include:
L-shaped LED taillights.
17-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels.
Flush door handles and puddle lamps (with Kia logo projection).
The wheelbase is 2,550mm, which increases the interior space.

1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel engine (116PS/250Nm).
Transmission: 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.
