It is about the year 1961-62, when there used to be terror of dacoits in Behta Gokul area of Hardoi. Dacoits raided the house of a farmer named Baldev. Baldev and his son Shivlal were bludgeoned to death when they protested during the looting. While leaving, the dacoits took away the 15-year-old daughter of the house, Mithani. At that time, Mithani was married and she was to have her first child the next month, but that one night changed the direction of her life forever.

Mithni’s journey after escaping from the clutches of dacoits reached Aligarh. It is said that Sohanlal Yadav, a wrestler there, showed courage and rescued her from the dacoits and later married her.
