‘King of luxury brands’ Johnathan Hanh Nguyen’s wife wears $173K diamond-studded Cartier watch at daughter’s wedding
Former actress Le Hong Thuy Tien, wife of tycoon Johnathan Hanh Nguyen, dubbed Vietnam’s “King of luxury brands”, wore Cartier Clé de Cartier watch worth 148,000 euros ($173,000) at her daughter Tien Nguyen’s wedding.
The 33-mm watch is made of 18K rhodium-plated white gold and fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Its crown is set with a polished blue spinel, and it runs on Cartier’s self-winding Calibre 1847 MC movement, offering a 42-hour power reserve and water resistance up to 30 meters.

Blending classic Roman numerals on a guilloché dial with a sleek modern form, the Clé de Cartier model stands out most for its lavish gemwork: 1,618 brilliant-cut diamonds in total, 437 on the case, 245 on the dial, and an impressive 936 adorning the bracelet.
Born in 1970, Thuy Tien currently serves as CEO of Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG), which exclusively distributes more than 100 luxury brands in Vietnam, including Rolex, Cartier, Dolce & Gabbana, Balmain, and Ermenegildo Zegna.
Her daughter, 28-year-old Tien Nguyen, married Dubai-based man Justin Cohen on Dec. 7.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s in aviation management from the U.K. and now manages a fashion company that distributes luxury brands. She is often seen attending major fashion weeks in Paris and London to mingle with international celebrities.
