The dream of a medical college in Kishanganj will come true, land has also been selected; Awaiting Approval

Bihar News: There has been a demand for building a medical college and hospital in Bihar’s border district Kishanganj for a long time. Now a big and positive initiative has emerged in this direction. The district administration has selected the land for the construction of the medical college and its proposal has been sent to the state government. However, final approval is yet to be given on this proposal.

How effective will the land prove to be?

According to the administration, a suitable land has been selected for the medical college near agricultural fields in Thakurganj area. This place is considered better in many ways. The biggest thing is that this place is located near the National Highway, which will make it easy to reach here. Especially in emergency situations, this location can prove to be very helpful in taking patients to the hospital quickly.

Permission has been received from the state government

The state government has already given permission to open a medical college in Kishanganj. After this, the concerned department had asked the district administration to identify the land. On the basis of this instruction, the administration has identified this land and sent it to the government in the form of a proposal. Now everyone’s eyes are on when the government approves this proposal.

The foundation stone could not be laid on March 11

During Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s visit to Thakurganj on March 11, people were hopeful that the foundation stone of the medical college would be laid. But this could not happen. This certainly caused some disappointment among the local people, but hope still remains. That day people also raised their voice and raised slogans regarding their demands.

People’s expectations have increased

Local leaders and public representatives have also raised this issue seriously. Many leaders including MLA Gopal Kumar Aggarwal have demanded to build a medical college in Thakurganj. At the same time, Samrat Chaudhary had also talked about setting up a medical college here in his address. People’s expectations have increased even more due to these statements.

Benefits will be available till the border areas of Bengal

If a medical college is built in Thakurganj, then not only Kishanganj district but many surrounding areas will benefit from it. Apart from this, people in the border areas of West Bengal will also be able to get better health facilities. At present, people of these areas have to go to far-flung cities for good treatment, which causes problems of both time and money.
