KL Rahul made a unique world record in test cricket

In fact, KL Rahul has become the first Indian player whose three consecutive century innings in Test ended with 100 runs. In this matter, he has left behind Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, who had two such centuries each. If we talk about the whole world, then Steve Waugh and Graeme Wood also have three such centuries in their names like Rahul, whereas England’s Leonard Hutton has the maximum of four such centuries in his name.

However, none of these players has done this three consecutive times. In this sense, Rahul has become the first player in the world to achieve this great achievement.

Indian team made a strong hold on test

The way Shubman Gill and company batted on the first day of the match, the Afghanistan team seems to be completely on the back foot. Except Yashasvi Jaiswal, 4 out of the top-5 batsmen scored fifty plus scores. With the pair of Gill and Pant still present at the crease, there is full hope that Team India will cross the mark of around 500 runs.
