IPL 2026: KL Rahul will create history in DC vs CSK match! Will become the first batsman to do so

Delhi: In IPL 2026, there will be a match between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings (DC vs CSK) on Tuesday. This match will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. During this match, KL Rahul will have a chance to create history. By scoring just 28 runs, Rahul will become the first batsman to score 1000 runs for three different teams in IPL.

KL Rahul has a chance to create history

Rahul has played for a total of five teams in IPL. He has been a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi. Out of which he has scored more than 1000 runs for Punjab and Lucknow. Now after scoring 28 runs, he will touch the 1000 run mark for Delhi also.

Rahul had scored 2548 runs for Punjab in 55 innings at an average of 57 and strike rate of 140. For Lucknow, he has scored 1410 runs in 38 innings. While playing for Delhi, Rahul has so far scored 972 runs in 22 innings at an average of 54. Rahul has six half-centuries and two centuries in his name for Delhi.

Rahul remains in the race to win the Orange Cap this year. This time he is at second place in this list. Rahul has 433 runs in his name so far in 9 innings. During this period, Rahul’s average was 54.12 and strike rate was 185.83. Delhi will expect similar excellent performance from Rahul in the coming matches also.
