India National Cricket Team cricketer KL Rahul took to social media on Tuesday, November 5, to wish his wife Athiya Shetty on her 32nd birthday.
The two tied the knot in January 2023 in the presence of their family and friends. The right-handed batter shared memorable photos on social media. “My craziee birthday baby,” he wrote.
He was last seen in action in the first Test between India and New Zealand in Bengaluru. Rahul was benched for the next two games in Pune and Mumbai after scoring just 0 and 12 in the team’s defeat by 8 wickets.
KL is also a part of the squad for the upcoming five-Test series against Australia. The 32-year-old was recently released by Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. He has been a part of 53 Tests, scoring 2,981 runs at an average of 33.87, with the help of eight hundreds and 15 fifties.
In 77 one-day internationals, he has amassed 2,851 runs at an average of 49.15, packed with seven tons and 18 half-centuries.
KL Rahul has played 72 T20Is for the Men in Blue, managing 2,265 runs, including two hundreds and 22 fifties.
