Police have claimed that the arrested person is a Bangladeshi citizen and has changed his name. The name of the accused person is Shariful Islam Shahzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Faqir (30). He had entered India illegally from Bangladesh seven months ago and had used the Aadhaar card of a West Bengal resident to buy a SIM before going to Mumbai. Now the question arises that how did these infiltrators enter India?

The intruder changed his identity

Police say that Fakir had changed his name to Vijay Das. He had taken the help of Dawki river to enter India illegally seven months ago. He entered India by crossing this river. Dawki River is also known as Umngot River and Wah Umngot. The river flows through Dawki, a small town located at the foot of the hills in the West Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya. This city remains relatively busy. It serves as a trade route between India and Bangladesh. This river is known for its cleanliness and transparent water, in which the river bed is clearly visible.

The river extends 96km

Dawki River is a popular fishing spot for local fishermen. This river is safe for swimming. The river passes through the Jaintia and Khasi Hills and marks the India-Bangladesh border before entering Bangladesh and joining the Kaladan River. It extends for about 96 kilometers.

During this time, he planned to go to Mumbai in search of a job and for this he contacted a local youth and bought a SIM card using his Aadhar card.

Police say that preliminary investigation has revealed that the SIM card used by the accused was registered in the name of Khukmoni Jahangir Sekha of West Bengal. Fakir also wanted to get an Aadhar card made for himself, but he was not successful in doing so. She chose to work at places in Mumbai where she did not need to submit any documents and labor contractor Amit Pandey got her housekeeping work in pubs and hotels in Worli and Thane.

Fakir arrested from Thane

According to the police officer, after examining Fakir's phone, it was found that he had made many calls to Bangladesh. He used the mobile app to make calls to Bangladesh. He had attacked Saif Ali Khan with a knife inside the 12-storey apartment on January 16. He was injured at 6 places in this attack. Khan has undergone surgery due to deep wounds on his body. Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate Court has sent the accused to police custody for 5 days.
