Know the recipe to make Amla Murabba
Here in winter you need some ingredients to make Amla Murabba.
Amla – 1 kg
Sugar – 1.5 kg or as per taste
Water – to boil Amla
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Cloves- 5-6
Some saffron threads (as needed)
Know how to prepare murabba
Here to make Amla Murabba, it is very easy to make Murabba with all these ingredients.
1- To make this, first wash the gooseberries thoroughly and make holes around them with the help of a fork. This will help the sugar syrup to dissolve in the gooseberry.
2- After this, heat water in a big vessel to boil the Indian gooseberry. Then add chopped gooseberries and boil them for about 10-12 minutes or until they become soft. Now filter them and keep them aside.
3- After this, to make syrup, add sugar and 4-5 cups of water in a separate pan. Heat this mixture and stir until the sugar dissolves completely and takes the form of syrup.
4- After this, put the boiled gooseberry in the syrup and cook on low to medium flame.
5- Let the gooseberries cook in the syrup for about 30-40 minutes while stirring occasionally. Keep in mind that the syrup should be thick and the amla should become transparent while absorbing the sugar.
6- To enhance the taste, you can add cardamom powder and cloves in it. You can also add saffron to it for deeper color and aroma.
7-Just delicious and healthy Amla Murabba is ready. You can eat it with paratha or puri.
