India’s star batter Virat Kohli had a disappointing performance during the 2nd Test against New Zealand in Pune as India lost by 113 runs.
After India’s fatal failure in Pune, it was the failure in batting by Kohli which caught everyone’s attention. Though Kohli was expected to be a key player for India, he failed to give out successful performances in both innings.
Kohli had a promising start to his inning, which was cut short by Mitchell Santner. Kohli tried to defend a lengthed ball, but was unfortunately trapped in front of the wicket. The umpire’s call gave confirmation about him being out, leaving Kohli visibly frustrated.
Kohli’s anger continued to be evident, as he vented his frustration on one of the ice box as he hit that box with his bat.
