Kohli will score a triple century, will create history against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy!

New Delhi: ICC has released the schedule of 2025 Champions Trophy. The Indian team will start its campaign against Bangladesh on 20 February. A special thing in this edition of Champions Trophy is that Team India's matches will be played in Dubai, while all other teams will play matches in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is close to a triple century in his ODI career.

Kohli will play 300th ODI match

Virat Kohli's triple century Virat Kohli played his first international match against Sri Lanka in 2008. Since then, in 16 years, he has scored 13,905 runs in 295 ODI matches. He will get a chance to play 300 matches in ODI cricket in his next five matches. The Indian team has to play a 3-match ODI series against England before the Champions Trophy, in which if Kohli plays, his number of ODI matches will increase to 298. Kohli will play his 300th ODI in the first match of the Champions Trophy against Pakistan on 23 February.

Record of scoring most centuries

Talking about Kohli's ODI career, so far he has scored 13,906 runs in 295 matches. He is the third highest run scorer in the history of ODI cricket and also holds the record for scoring most centuries in the 50-over format. Kohli has 50 ODI centuries in his account, which has broken Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 centuries. In terms of Champions Trophy, the Indian team has been placed in Group A along with Bangladesh, New Zealand and Pakistan. All India matches will be held at Dubai International Stadium. If Team India reaches the final of the tournament, it will be played in Dubai instead of Lahore.
