Big accident in Korba! One worker lost his life due to soil collapse near coal mine, two injured

A major accident took place in Korba district of Chhattisgarh. Here, soil collapsed at the construction site near the coal mine, due to which one contract laborer died and two others were injured. The injured workers were taken to the hospital. Police reached the spot after receiving information and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. A police officer gave this information on Saturday.

According to the news agency, the police said that this incident took place on Friday during the construction of a drain near the gate of the mine of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) in Gevra of Deepka police station area. He told that Vishal Nayak (25), his brother Karan and his brother-in-law were trapped in the mound of earth, which had collapsed.

The deceased was a resident of Jharkhand

Police further said that Vishal's brother-in-law managed to come out injured. But, Vishal and Karan got injured. Both of them were immediately taken to the hospital, where Vishal died. He was a resident of Jharkhand. At present, the body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. Further action is being taken in the matter.
