Kotak Alts launches ‘Catalyst Awards’, India’s top financial podcaster will get a reward of ₹25 lakh

Kotak Alts Launches Katalyst Awards: Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Limited (Kotak Alts) today launched the Kotak Alts Catalyst Awards. It is a first-of-its-kind platform that aims to celebrate the best financial podcasts from India. The winner of this award will get a reward of Rs 25 lakh.

This winner-takes-all award has been launched to promote accurate and trustworthy financial content. Its aim is to honor content creators who boost confidence and empower youth and first-time investors by providing them with the right information.

Who can participate in this awards?

Those who wish to participate can submit their best video podcast. This video should be public on YouTube in the year 2025 (between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025). Applications can be submitted till January 31, 2026 at katalyst.kotakalternateasset.com. After this, a team of big industry experts will examine these videos. They will see how good the information in the video is, how unique it is and how much people are liking it.

Srini Srinivasan, Managing Director, Kotak Alts, said that India is currently witnessing the biggest wave of financial participation. Millions of new investors are searching for the right information on the internet, but there is a lot of incomplete and shortcut advice out there. Podcasts and podcasts have emerged as strong sources of financial information, but their quality and trustworthiness varies widely. Catalyst fills this gap by bringing to the fore a creator who simplifies the complexities, provides reassurance and makes financial education interesting and useful.

Eligibility and Application Rules

• Applicant must be an Indian citizen and reside in India, along with a valid identity card (ID proof).
• You must have at least 50,000 subscribers on your YouTube channel by December 31, 2025.
• By December 31, 2025, you must have at least 1 year of experience in creating finance-related videos and have created at least 3 advisory episodes.
• An excellent podcast (minimum 5 minutes, released between January 1 and December 31, 2025) must be submitted to katalyst.kotakalternateasset.com by January 31, 2026.
• The content should be aimed at simplifying finance for youth and first-time investors. Content may be in English or major Indian languages, but English subtitles are required.
• All entries will be evaluated by an eminent jury panel on the basis of content quality, innovation and audience participation. Complete details of the jury and evaluation process will be shared soon.
