Now director Homi Adajania is bringing its spiritual sequel ‘Cocktail 2’. Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna are going to be seen together in this film. Kriti-Rashmika gave clarification
At the trailer launch event of ‘Cocktail 2’, Kriti and Rashmika said that there is nothing like that about playing the role of a lesbian couple in the film. At the event, Shahid asked whether there is no lesbian love track between you two in the film? On this Rashmika said that you do not know. Kriti replied- This is the problem. When two boys are friends in a film, it is called bromance, but if girls are friends then no one believes. People cannot believe that girls can also be friends.
What did producer Dinesh Vijan say?
During a press interaction, the film’s producer Dinesh Vijan had also dismissed these rumors outright. Clarifying the story of the film, she said that there is no lesbian love story in ‘Cocktail 2’. Instead, the film has two separate romantic tracks, which are presented in a very parallel, emotionally deep and bold manner. Vision stressed that these rumors are completely baseless. He said that the audience should wait to experience the story on the big screen. The film certainly touches upon modern relationships and complicated emotions, but he clarified that the claims being made on social media do not accurately reflect the story. ‘Cocktail 2’ will be released in theaters on June 19.
