Kuldeep Sengar’s daughters’ emotional post, ‘We are demanding justice because we are human beings, please let the law speak without any fear…’, will fight, will not lose

New Delhi. Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, convicted in the Unnao Rape Case, got a big blow from the Supreme Court on Monday. The Supreme Court has stayed the decision of the Delhi High Court giving relief to former MLA Kuldeep Sengar. The court also said that the allegations are serious. This criminal should not get bail in any case. Where a daughter is demanding justice for the crime committed against her. Another daughter is still waiting for justice for her father. Actually, we are talking about Dr. Ishita Sengar, younger daughter of former BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar. He has made a tweet on social media platform X.

Dr. Ishita Sengar, a daughter who had maintained silence for 8 years while having faith in the justice system of the country, has now put forward her pain publicly. Describing herself as tired, scared, but still hopeful, she said her silence was not a result of weakness but of trust in institutions. Actually, Kuldeep Sengar’s younger daughter Dr. Ishita Sengar posted on X. She wrote, ‘I am writing a letter as a daughter who is tired and scared. For 8 years I and my family have waited for justice. Believing that if we do everything correctly, the truth will reveal itself. We trusted the law. We trusted the Constitution. We believed that justice in this country does not depend on noise, hashtags or public anger. But now my faith is breaking.

He further wrote that my identity has been limited to one label. She is the daughter of a BJP MLA. Like it destroys my humanity. As if just because of this I don’t deserve fairness, respect, or the right to speak. People who have never met me, never read any document, never seen any court record, have decided that my life has no value. Over the years, I have been asked countless times on social media why am I alive? If I am alive then I should be raped, killed, or punished for that. This hatred is not imaginary. This is an everyday thing. It is persistent. When you realize that so many people believe you don’t even deserve to live, it breaks something inside you.

He also said that we chose silence not because we were powerful, but because we trusted the institutions. We did not protest. We did not shout in the television debate. We did not burn effigies or trend hashtags. We waited because we believed that truth does not need drama. What price did we have to pay for that silence? Our dignity has been gradually snatched away from us. We were abused, mocked and treated inhumanely every day for eight years. We are financially, emotionally and physically exhausted. We kept running from one office to another, writing letters, making phone calls, begging to be heard… there was no door on which we did not knock. There was no officer whom we did not contact. There was no media house that we did not write about. Still no one listened.

our truth was of no use to anyone

Kuldeep Sengar’s daughter Ishita further says that no one listened to us. Not because the facts were weak, not because there was a lack of evidence. But because our truth was of no use to anyone. People call us strong. Let me ask you, what kind of power keeps a family speechless for eight years? What kind of power is this that means your name gets dragged through the mud every day and you sit quietly, trusting a system that is not even ready to acknowledge your existence?

He said that today I am afraid not just of injustice, but of fear itself. A fear that has been created deliberately. A fear so strong that judges, journalists, institutions and ordinary citizens are all under pressure to remain silent. A fear designed to ensure that no one dares stand with us, no one dares listen to us and no one dares say – let’s look at the facts. Seeing all this happening, I am shaken to the core. If the truth can be so easily suppressed by anger and misinformation, where should people like me go? If pressure and public frenzy begin to overwhelm evidence and due process, what protection does an ordinary citizen really have?

I am not writing to threaten.

She further said that I am not writing this letter to threaten anyone. I am not writing this letter to get sympathy. I am writing this because I am very scared and because I still believe that someone, somewhere, will care enough to listen to us. We are not asking for any favors. We are not asking for protection because of who we are. We are demanding justice because we are human beings. Please let the law speak without any fear. Please allow the evidence to be examined without any pressure. Please let the truth be the truth, even if it is not popular. I am a daughter who still has faith in this country. Please don’t make me regret this trust.
