Changing interests of youth

Noting this change during the program, Kumar Vishwas said, “For the first time on New Year, it is happening that instead of seeing the graveyard in Agra, a large number of youth are going to Ayodhya and Vrindavan. Change is necessary, and this process will take time.” He also said that those who believe that India is a secular country need to think that activities related to Ram are continuing.

Thoughts on Ram Mandir issue

Speaking on Ayodhya’s Ram temple controversy, Kumar Vishwas said that this country is wonderful. He highlighted that the case regarding the birthplace of Ram went on in the Supreme Court for 30 years, and ultimately the Court decided that Ram was born where his temple is.

Concern over Delhi’s pollution

Taking a dig at the ongoing pollution in Delhi, Kumar Vishwas said that despite the BJP government at all three levels, the condition of Delhi’s air is worrying. “The Defense Minister, we and everyone else live in this city. There are three levels of government, but what is the condition of the air,” he said.

Discussion of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel

Viswas also questioned the position of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel. Addressing the Congress, he said, “You people are engrossed in your family heroes, while Patel’s ideas are being ignored. If Gandhiji is recognised, his ideas should be respected.”
