After the incident, the miscreants fled from the grain market via the road leading to Chammu village.

According to the information received, the incident occurred around 5:30 in the evening. Agent Harvilas, resident of Mahalan village of district Ambala, was going for personal work in his car. The miscreants fired three shots, breaking the glass of the car and hitting his neck and chest. After the incident the accused fled from the spot.
