Big accident at Kushinagar’s Bhaisha fair: Huge swing broke resulting in death, more than 20 devotees left bleeding

Kushinagar Swing Accident: The atmosphere of happiness and faith suddenly turned into mourning on Wednesday night in Khadda of Kushinagar. Thousands of people had gathered at the Bhaisha fair held near the ancient Durga temple situated on the banks of Narayani river. On this auspicious occasion of Chaitra Purnima, a large number of devotees had arrived from every corner of Purvanchal including neighboring countries Nepal and Bihar.

No one had any idea that the next moment the scene there was going to be horrifying. A huge swing installed in the fair suddenly collapsed and the entire area shook with screams. This accident was so horrific that the beauty of the fair ended within minutes and an atmosphere of chaos was created all around.

Accident happened due to negligence

The information that is coming out about the accident is giving goosebumps. If people are to be believed, soon after the swing started running, strange sounds started coming from it. It is being told that only after turning three-four times, the swing started creaking, which was a clear sign of some great danger. The people present there also warned, but the swing operator did not pay attention to it and continued swinging on his own insistence.

The result of this negligence was that within a few moments the swing broke and the people sitting at a height in it fell straight to the ground. More than 20 people were seriously injured in this tragic accident, including innocent children and women.

Stampede at midnight

As soon as the swing fell, there was a stampede in the fair and people started running here and there to save their lives. However, in this hour of crisis, the local people and administration immediately took charge. The police team reached the spot and the work of evacuating the injured buried under the debris was started on a war footing.

Kushinagar – A major accident occurred due to the breaking of the swing in the fair – A total of 19 people were injured in the accident, 7 people were seriously injured and referred to the district hospital. Six vehicles of 108 ambulances were immediately called from the district, which started taking the injured to the hospital. Some of the injured were taken to the local primary health centre, while those whose condition was more critical were referred to the district hospital.

MLA Vivekananda Pandey told that just two hours before this incident, a tragic accident had also taken place in Siswa Gopal, in which three people lost their lives. These two accidents that happened in the same day have plunged the entire area into mourning. The MLA has assured proper treatment of the injured.
