Kuwait Road Closure: Street 85 will be closed in Jaber Al-Ahmad, the route will remain changed for a month

There is an important news for the people traveling in Jaber Al-Ahmad area of ​​Kuwait. A main road here is being closed for repair work, due to which people traveling will have to change their routes. General Traffic Department (GTD) has issued an official notice for this.

According to the traffic department, Jaber Al-Ahmad area Street 85 Will be kept closed. This road is located in front of Block 1 and will be closed from the roundabout till Doha Road.

Road closure times and dates are as follows:

• beginning: Saturday, July 4, 2026
• termination: Tuesday, August 4, 2026

This step has been taken to complete the road repair work. In this entire process, along with the General Traffic Department, the Ministry of Public Works is also working in coordination.

Drivers have been advised to follow traffic signals and use alternative routes as advised by the department. Follow the instructions of the traffic police posted on the road so that there is no jam and safety is maintained.
