Laal of Supaul becomes national karate champion

Supaul. Seven year old promising player of the district Geetank Ayush Has brought glory to Bihar at the national level with his extraordinary talent and brilliant performance. Held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand Kiyo Sub Junior, Cadet and Junior National Karate Championship-2026 Geetank achieved the distinction of becoming the national champion by winning the gold medal in the under-7 year (25 kg category). Now his eyes are on the international karate competition to be held in China in September-October, where he will represent India.

Talented players from across the country participated in this prestigious competition organized at Multi Purpose Hall, Parade Ground, Dehradun from 4th to 7th June. Geetank, representing Bihar, performed one-sidedly throughout the tournament and won all his matches by a huge margin and won the gold medal.

Geetank’s coach Subhash Kumar Told that in the first match he defeated Reyansh Kshetri of Sikkim 6-0. In the second round, M. Gowda Vihaan of Karnataka was also defeated 6-0. Entered the final by defeating Aaron George of Madhya Pradesh 8-2 ​​in the semi-finals. Achieved the honor of becoming national champion by defeating Shaurya Prajapati of Maharashtra 6-0 in the title match.

After winning the gold medal at the national level, Geetank has now been selected for the international karate competition to be held in China. He will be a part of the Indian team in this competition to be held in September-October. For this, he will be given special training so that he can win medals for the country even on the international platform.

There is an atmosphere of happiness in Geetank’s family due to this big achievement at a young age. Pride and enthusiasm is being seen among the family members as well as the people of the entire village and district. Local people say that Geetank has achieved this position on the strength of his hard work, discipline and dedication and has become an inspiration for other children of the area.

Coach Subhash Kumar expressed confidence that if Geetanka continues to get better training and necessary facilities, he will achieve golden success for India at the international level as well. Now the hopes of the entire district are pinned on the competition to be held in China, where this little player will once again enter with the intention of flying the tricolor high.
