Generally, tomato and green chilli chutney is usually made, but today we will tell you the recipe of a chutney which is quite famous in Rajasthan, this is garlic chutney. Spicy in taste and very tasty, you will enjoy eating this chutney. And you can enjoy it with puri and paratha. Different types of parathas are made in the cold season, so in such a situation you can enjoy these parathas with this chutney.

Lahsun Chatni Recipe: Ingredients
- Garlic cloves-10 to 12
- Dry red chilli – 4 to 5
- Tomato-1 medium chopped
- Cumin – 1 teaspoon
- Coriander seeds- 1 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder (optional)-½ tsp
- Oil-2-3 tbsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Lemon juice (optional)- 1 teaspoon
Method
- 1- To make chutney, first peel the garlic cloves and keep them aside. Also, if you want, soak the dry red chillies in hot water for 10-15 minutes to soften them.
- 2-Now heat a pan on medium flame and add cumin and coriander and fry till aroma comes out.
- Then let them cool. Now grind them into coarse powder with the help of a grinder or mortar.
- 3-After this, heat oil in the pan and add garlic cloves in it and fry till it becomes golden brown.
- After this, add soaked red chillies and chopped tomatoes (if using) and cook until the tomatoes become soft and the oil starts separating.
- 4-Now add roasted cumin and coriander powder, salt and red chilli powder (if using). Mix everything well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- 5-Then let this mixture cool and then mix it into a thick paste with the help of a food processor or blender. If necessary, you can add some water or oil to it. Rajasthani garlic chutney is ready. You can serve it with bajra roti, dal baati, paratha or pakoda.
