New Delhi. Bollywood actress Lara Dutta and her daughter Sayra Dutta are stuck in Dubai. Lara recently shared an emotional video on Instagram and social media, in which she told that she and her daughter are constantly feeling fear and stress due to the tension of the recently escalated Israel-Iran war. Lara had gone there for a brand promotion, but due to the sudden increase in tension and explosions, she is now unable to return from there.
Lara said in the video that on February 28, while shooting in a studio in Dubai, she started hearing explosions. She said she and her daughter immediately ran out of the studio and saw the missiles being intercepted. Lara said, “We’re scared. There are lots of fighter jets flying overhead and there are loud explosions. We are in a safe villa, but because of the explosions the windows are shaking and the doors are rattling. It is a very scary experience.”
Lara also said in the video that her husband was out for work at the moment, so she had to worry about her daughter’s safety alone. He also told that the gardener and other staff who were with him are continuously helping him. During this entire experience, Lara paid special attention to her daughter’s safety and peace of mind.
In the emotional video, Lara praised the UAE government and said that the officials and administration there are always ensuring that the citizens remain safe. “We felt taken care of. No matter what our nationality, we were kept safe. We felt reassured that our safety was being given priority,” he said. Lara also praised the common people, who are continuously managing the country and the city in this difficult time.
Lara also mentioned the tension between India and Pakistan last year. He said that when there was conflict in India, his country made him feel safe. Now in Dubai also they are getting the same assurance that the administration is making every effort for the safety of the citizens.
