Lathi charge on BPSC candidates in Patna, police kept batting despite folded hands

Patna: In the capital Patna, the police lathi-charged the candidates demanding cancellation of the 70th BPSC examination during their demonstration on Wednesday. It is said that many BPSC candidates got injured in the police lathicharge. The police chased the candidates and beat them. The candidates kept pleading with folded hands not to use lathicharge, yet the police kept raining batons on them.

BPSC candidates have been agitating in Gardnibagh, Patna for the last eight days demanding cancellation of the examination, the health of many candidates has also deteriorated. Alleging paper leak, the candidates are demanding re-examination. Although the examination held at Bapu Center in Patna has been cancelled, the candidates are demanding re-conduct of the examination at all the centers instead of one centre.
