According to his LinkedIn profile, Samarth Singh describes himself as an independent lawyer, legal advisor and legal expert. He studied law from the prestigious National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru. Not only this, he also participated in Ghent University of Belgium under the Erasmus Mundus exchange program.

His profile shows that he has been practicing in the trial and appellate courts of Bhopal, Jabalpur and Indore. Samarth claims that he has experience in service law, criminal defense and consumer protection matters. He has been practicing independently since September 2018 and has about eight years of legal experience.

Samarth Singh also found in his profile that he was associated as the Legal Advisor of Madhya Pradesh Government from June 2023 to August 2025. Although this claim has not yet been officially confirmed publicly, for this reason the matter is being considered more sensitive. His advocacy license was issued by the Bar Council of Madhya Pradesh in September 2018. But after the allegations came to light in the Twisha Sharma death case, the Bar Council of India (BCI) on Friday suspended her license with immediate effect.
