Leaders pay tribute on the martyrdom day of Rani Avantibai Lodhi

New Delhi, 20 March. On the death anniversary of Rani Avantibai Lodhi, the heroine of the first freedom struggle of 1857, prominent politicians of the country paid emotional tribute to her. Many leaders including Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma remembered his courage, leadership and patriotism.

Yogi Adityanath wrote on Instagram, ‘Humble tribute to Queen Avantibai Lodhi, the immortal symbol of national self-respect. His amazing bravery to protect the motherland is a golden page of Indian history.

Bhajan Lal Sharma said, ‘Regards to Rani Avantibai, the pioneer of 1857 revolution.’ Pankaj Chaudhary praised her fearless struggle, while Diya Kumari described her as a pioneer of the liberation struggle.

Keshav Prasad Maurya paid tribute to his bravery. Yogendra Chandolia highlighted his role in challenging the British rule. Gaurav Gautam described how the brave daughter of Ramgarh took up the sword and sacrificed her life for her self-respect.

Rani Avantibai’s life is an example of struggle. After the death of her husband, she saved the Ramgarh state, organized an army and fought guerilla wars. When surrounded, he sacrificed himself. Today their sacrifice inspires patriotism, which will guide the new generations.
