Leaked Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy with 4.47GHz Core

The Geekbench running score of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy, also known by the name Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Leading Edition has been leaked, as reported by IT Home on September 25, 2024.

According to IT Home, the frequency of the processor’s large score has been increased to 4.47GHz, the single-core running score is 3011 points, and the multi-core running score is 9706 points. They also suggested that the customers can expect this processor to be installed on the Samsung Galaxy s25 series mobile phones.

They reported that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy adopts TSMC’s 3nm process, the CPU part adopts 2× 4.47GHz Oryon large core + 6× 3.53GHz Oryon large core, and the GPU is Adreno 850 with a frequency of 1.3GHz. In comparison, the CPU frequency of the standard version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is 2× 4.32GHz + 6× 3.53GHz.

Furthermore, Dimensity 9400 also uses TSMC’s 3nm process, with a CPU frequency of 1× 3.63GHz Cortex-X925 + 3× 3.3GHz Cortex-X925 + 4× 2.4GHz Cortex-A725, and a GPU of Immortalis-G925 12 cores, a single-core score of 2876 points, and a multi-core score of 8987 points. For Apple, the A18 Pro and A18 processors have a maximum frequency of 4.04GHz and use a 2+4 architecture.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy Leading Edition has outstanding performance in large core frequency and multi-core performance, and its actual performance is worth looking forward to. Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit 2024 will be held on October 21, when Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will be officially released.
