Learn how to get better reels and profile experience with the new features of Instagram.

Instagram has announced some great changes for its users, which will now make the experience of using Instagram even more fun. Some of these major changes are:

Instagram Reels limit increased:
Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, said that now users will be able to upload reels of up to 3 minutes. Earlier there was a reel limit of 90 seconds, which was proving to be less for many users. Now users will be able to create their reels for a longer period of time, which will give them more scope for creativity. Earlier, there was a facility to post long videos on Instagram, but it was not in the form of reels, but in the form of normal posts.

Instagram's redesigned profile grid:
Instagram has designed the profile grid in a new way. Now videos and posts will be shown in a rectangular frame instead of a square frame. This will improve the visuals of videos and photos, especially when posting vertical videos. Now there will be less cropping of content, which will provide a better experience.

Instagram's new reels section:
A new section has been added to the Reels tab, in which videos liked by friends will be shown. When you go to the Reels tab, a new feed will appear in the top right corner. This feature will currently be rolled out in some selected countries, and will later be made available in other countries as well.

Instagram edit app:
Instagram has launched a new video editing app, named “Edits”. In this app, users will get creative tools and the video quality will also be better. Users can edit their videos as well as draft them. At present this app is not available on Google Play Store, but pre-registration can be done on Apple App Store. It is expected that this app can be launched on March 13.
