Lee Lung Kei’s 40-year-younger partner suspected of being married with children

Hong Kong outlet HK01 reported that paparazzi recently spotted Wong having a meal in Foshan with her mother, her teenage son and a man believed to be her husband. Sources identified the man, surnamed Tran, as her spouse, saying the couple married in 2007, never divorced and share a 16-year-old son.

According to the same sources, Wong has stopped communicating with Lee since returning to the mainland. The pair have reportedly had no contact for several months, and Wong has not publicly addressed the allegations.

In November, Lee told the media that his fiancée was occupied with managing her family’s business so the couple met less frequently. He also said they would complete their marriage registration soon.

Lee has since returned to Hong Kong for work and has rarely mentioned his relationship with Wong, despite previously saying they would marry after her release from prison. He was recently seen being intimate with a younger actress at public events but denied rumors of a new relationship.

Lee is a Hong Kong artist who previously worked with ATV and TVB. He began his career singing television drama theme songs and later worked as a freelance singer and actor. He said that at the peak of his career in the 1980s, he led an extravagant life and had several luxury cars as well as a private plane. He has appeared in iconic TVB dramas such as “The Return of the Condor Heroes,” “The Smiling, Proud Wanderer,” “Journey to the West,” and “Forensic Heroes.”

He was previously married to a woman nearly 30 years younger and has three children. The marriage ended in divorce several years ago. He met Chris in 2018 and the two frequently appeared together at events before announcing plans to marry. Their wedding plans were delayed after Chris became involved in legal issues.

Chris was arrested in February last year. Investigators said she used fake US university diplomas to apply for priority entry into Hong Kong. On June 19, 2024, she was sentenced to 25 months in prison on seven charges, including using forged documents, providing false information and overstaying in Hong Kong. Wong admitted to the charges and accepted the sentence, with the couple deciding not to appeal despite Lee being shocked by the severity of the punishment.

During her time in prison, Lee visited her regularly and said he planned to propose after her release. In July, Wong completed her sentence and returned to mainland China.
