Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 launched: AI features will be available with 13MP camera, 10,200mAh battery, the price is this much

Lenovo has launched its new Android tablet Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 in India. This tablet comes with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and on-device AI features. It has only one variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The tablet has a 13-inch 3.5K display and 144Hz refresh rate. Along with this, four JBL speakers and Dolby Atmos support is also provided. It has a 10,200mAh battery and 45W fast charging support. It was first shown at MWC 2026.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 price and availability
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 price in India has been set at ₹39,999 (8GB + 256GB variant). This tablet will be available from May 1 on Lenovo’s website, e-commerce platforms and offline stores. An instant bank discount of ₹3,000 is also being given as part of the launch offer. 1 year warranty is available with it. This tablet is available in Cloud Grey, Jelly Mint and Luna Gray color options.

Specifications of Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2
The tablet runs on Android 16 and will get 2 OS updates till Android 18 and 4 years of security updates till 2030. It has a 13-inch 3.5K LCD display (2190×3540 pixels), which has Dolby Vision support, 144Hz refresh rate and 319ppi pixel density. This display gives 600 nits brightness and up to 800 nits brightness in HBM mode.

Performance and AI features
This new tablet from Lenovo has Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which comes with Qualcomm Hexagon NPU and Adreno 825 GPU. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, which makes it smooth enough for multitasking and high-performance use.

Talking about AI features, many smart tools have been provided in it like AI Notes, Smart Reader, AI Creation Tools and Live Transcript. Apart from this, advanced AI features like Circle to Search, Google Gemini support and real-time translation are also included, which further improve the user experience.

Camera and connectivity
In the camera setup, a 13MP autofocus camera is provided at the rear, while there is an 8MP selfie camera at the front. For connectivity, it has USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 support. Besides, many important sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope and RGB sensor have also been included in it.

Audio & Accessories
To improve the audio experience, the tablet has 4 JBL speakers, which come with Dolby Atmos support. This tablet supports Lenovo 2-in-1 Keyboard and touchpad, although these can be purchased separately. Along with this, Lenovo Tab Pen Plus is also available, which comes with 4,096 pressure levels and is very useful for notes and drawing.

Battery and design
It has a large 10,200mAh battery, which supports 45W fast charging, which provides the benefit of both long-term use and fast charging.

Talking about design, its size is 191.91 x 296.48 x 6.20mm and weight is 598 grams, making it a slim and premium feeling tablet.
