Lenovo ThinkBook Plus: The world's first rollable display laptop may hit the market soon, know what will be special…
Lenovo ThinkBook Plus: At MWC 2023, Lenovo had shown the concept prototype of its Rollable Display Laptop and smartphone. Now this laptop is moving towards becoming a reality.
Well-known tipster Evan Blass shared some pictures on Substack, which he described as Lenovo's first commercial rollable display laptop. They claim that this laptop will be the sixth generation Lenovo ThinkBook Plus and it will be launched at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January.
How is the design of the laptop?
This laptop of Lenovo is similar to the concept prototype shown in 2023. There will be a motorized mechanism, which will pull out the screen from under the chassis of the laptop.
When fully extended it will give a 15.3-inch display.
The laptop will have a flip switch, which will activate motors to roll out the screen. This process will be completed in about 10 seconds.
It was seen in the pictures that the upper part of the screen is being used for watching videos, while the lower part is for documents.
Features and possibilities
- AI Features: The laptop is likely to have Microsoft's Copilot Key, which will provide AI related features.
- Hardware Specifications: Blass has not revealed hardware details, but it will be interesting to see whether this laptop will be for power users or a mid-range entertainment device.
- Display strength: The biggest concern with last year's concept was whether the display would be able to withstand everyday use.
what to expect?
This step of Lenovo can prove to be a new milestone in the technical world. If this device is launched in the market, it can bring a big change in laptop design and usability.
Lenovo may unveil this device during CES in January 2024. Until then, all eyes are on whether this concept will actually turn into a useful and durable device.
