Leonardo DiCaprio is known for keeping his personal life private but a surprising detail about the actor’s TV habits has recently surfaced.
Actor Simon Rex revealed that the Oscar winner is a fan of the reality show Jersey Shore during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.
Speaking on the programme’s Thursday episode host Drew Barrymore asked Rex to confirm whether a series of statements about his life were true or false.
One claim suggested that Rex once introduced DiCaprio to members of the Jersey Shore cast during a night out at a club.
Rex confirmed the story during the segment. “That happened, yeah,” he said while discussing the moment.
Rex explained that he and DiCaprio are not close friends but occasionally greet each other when they run into one another.
“I’m not friends with Leo, but I’d say what’s up to him,” he said.
According to Rex the encounter took place while the two were at the same venue and members of the Jersey Shore cast were seated at a nearby table.
Rex then approached DiCaprio and helped facilitate the introduction.
Meanwhile DiCaprio continues to stay busy professionally.
The actor is currently receiving attention for his latest film One Battle After Another which has been gaining recognition across several industry platforms.
