‘Let’s see what happens to these crazy people today’… Trump’s stern warning to Iran, panic in the oil market
New Delhi. US President Donald Trump has once again given a sharp warning regarding Iran. Trump wrote in a post on his social media platform Truth Social on Friday, “Stay tuned to see what happens to these crazy people today.”
Attack on Iran’s military power-
Trump claimed that Iran’s navy and air force have been almost destroyed and its missiles, drones and other military resources are being damaged. He also said that many leaders of Iran have also been killed. Trump accused Iran of killing innocent people for the last 47 years and said that now the 47th President of America is eliminating them.
Mojtaba Khamenei’s threat-
Just before Trump’s statement, Iran’s new Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei issued his first statement amid the ongoing war with America and Israel. Khamenei said that closing the Strait of Hormuz should be used as a force and attacks on US targets would continue.
Panic in the global oil market-
Rising tensions in Iran and West Asia have shaken the global oil market. Oil prices are increasing rapidly due to fear of supply disruption.
America’s sudden change in attitude-
Meanwhile, America has decided to give temporary permission to other countries to buy oil from Russia. The US Treasury Department issued a notice saying that transactions related to Russian crude oil and petroleum products loaded on ships have been allowed on or before 12.01 am on March 12. This order will remain effective till April 11.
Experts say the move is being considered an attempt to stabilize global energy supply as tensions rise in response to US and Israel attacks on Iran and oil prices are skyrocketing.
