Hamilton, the seven-time F1 world champion, raised his voice once again on his 41st birthday, pledging to bring about a major change in his life.
The Ferrari driver took to social media and told his millions of fans that “the time for change is now.”
The Briton’s debut year with Ferrari was “very draining” as he finished without taking a single podium for the first time in his 19-year racing career.
After the 2025 season, he is taking some time off in the snowy mountains to “disconnect, recharge, and find a bit of inner peace.”
Hamilton told his die-hard fans that he is “starting new routines, leaving behind unwanted patterns and working on growth.”
The “Billion Dollar Man” noted that he is “conscious that we’re entering the Year of the Horse and leaving behind the Year of the Snake.”
He also urged fans to start the new year with courage, stating, “Be you and never forget who you are. I learnt that from many of you who told me this in 2025 and I’ll never forget it again!”
The solemn pledge by the racing giant was appreciated by his fans. With the start of 2026, F1 is preparing for an overhaul in regulations, and Hamilton is getting ready for the hunt for his eighth world title.
