On Monday, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha reached the hospital to inquire about the well being of the injured. Instructions for financial assistance to victims of terrorist attack

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has directed APCO Infratech Company to provide financial assistance to the families of the injured and those killed in the terrorist attack on Sunday. Regarding financial assistance, APCO Infratech Company officials told Sinha that under SRE, Rs 6 lakh will be given to the families of each martyred civilian and Rs 15 lakh will be given by APCO Infratech Company as an immediate measure.

Rs 2 lakh financial compensation to the injured

Apart from this, an ex-gratia amount of Rs 2 lakh will be provided to all the injured. The company will also provide financial assistance to families of citizens on roll under the Corporate Personal Accident Policy and 5 years of their gross CTC as compensation from insurance. All PRW workers and third party employees are covered under the workers compensation policy.

The Lieutenant Governor said that the government and APCO Infratech Company will provide all possible financial assistance and other assistance to the family of the deceased.
