Remove the blockade of Hormuz in 48 hours otherwise we will destroy the power plant… President Trump’s ultimatum to Iran

Trump warning: US President Donald Trump has increased the tension in the Middle East by warning Iran. Trump has said in clear words that, if Iran does not immediately lift the blockade of oil ships from the Strait of Hormuz, then America will launch fierce attacks on Iran’s power plants. In a strong message issued from the White House, Trump has given Iran a deadline of 48 hours.

“Iran must completely open the Strait of Hormuz. If they don’t, we will completely obliterate their electricity grid, starting with their largest plant,” he said on social media and in an official briefing.

The crisis began when Iran began blocking the Strait of Hormuz, the most important route for global oil supplies. About 20% of the world’s crude oil passes through this route. This action of Iran has created a stir in the global energy market and oil prices have started touching the sky. Iran has also taken a tough stance on Trump’s threat. Iranian military commanders have issued a statement saying that if there is any attack on their energy infrastructure, they will take “terrible” revenge. Iran has indicated that it may target oil and power facilities of America’s regional allies (such as Israel and the Gulf countries).
