Messi took 100 crores to set foot on Indian soil! You will be shocked to know the whole story
Lionel Messi India Tour Fee: Lionel Messi, who is called the God of the football world, was recently on a tour of India, but do you know how much money he took to set foot on Indian soil? This tour of Messi, who made the fans crazy with his magic in Kolkata and Hyderabad, took crores of rupees. Now the organizer of this event and Satadru Dutta, who was caught by the police, himself has accepted that ‘huge amount’ of money. Has disclosed, which was given to Messi.
According to news agency PTI, during the interrogation of SIT, Dutta told that the total cost of bringing Lionel Messi to India was Rs 100 crore. Of this, Rs 89 crore was given directly to Messi as fees, while Rs 11 crore was paid to the Government of India as tax. Investigation has also revealed that 30 percent of this huge amount came from sponsorship and the rest of the money was raised from the sale of tickets. The SIT has also found an amount of more than Rs 20 crore in Dutta’s frozen bank accounts.
Expensive tickets and chaos in the stadium
To get a glimpse of Messi at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, fans spent thousands of rupees and bought expensive tickets. But the mismanagement there was such that the crowd gathered around Messi in the ground, due to which the people sitting in the gallery could not see him. Angered by this, the fans vandalized the stadium. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the West Bengal government constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising senior IPS officers like Piyush Pandey and Javed Shamim, which is now investigating the security lapses, violation of access rules and the role of the organisers.

Messi had to touch heavily, left the show midway
During interrogation, Satadru Dutta made another big revelation. He told that Messi did not like being touched or hugged by the crowd at all. Foreign security officials had warned in advance, but the crowd went out of control. The organizer said that despite repeated announcements, people did not agree. The way the World Cup winning player was surrounded and hugged, he became angry and left the program before the scheduled time. The SIT is now closely examining these claims and the documents seized from Dutta’s house.
