Liu Yifei reportedly single for past 8 years
Chinese-American actress Liu Yifei is believed to have remained single since breaking up with her former boyfriend, South Korean actor Song Seung Heon, in 2018.

According to Znewsciting China TimesLiu Yifei’s relationship status was discussed by paparazzo and celebrity blogger Liu Dachui during a recent livestream.
Known for sharing information about Chinese celebrities, Dachui said he has not seen the actress dating anyone during the years he has followed her activities, noting that she is most often seen going out with her mother.
“We’ve never seen her on a date,” Dachui said. “Since the second half of last year, we’ve seen her going out more often, but she’s usually just strolling around the city. Every time we hope to see who she’s with, but about 90% of the time she’s with her mother.”
The claim that Liu Yifei remains single at age 39 has attracted widespread attention online. Many internet users have expressed curiosity about why the actress, known for her striking looks and successful career, appears to have chosen to remain unattached.
Her only publicly confirmed relationship was with Song. The two met in 2015 while filming the movie “The Third Way of Love” and confirmed their relationship in August that year. They announced their breakup in January 2018, reportedly citing busy schedules.
The actress was born in Wuhan, China, to dancer Liu Xiaoli and An Shaokang, a former French-language lecturer who later worked at the Chinese consulate in France. After her parents divorced when she was 10, she moved to the U.S. with her mother, where she studied and later obtained citizenship. She returned to China five years later and entered the entertainment industry with her debut drama “The Story of a Noble Family.”
She later starred in a string of high-profile productions, including “Chinese Paladin” and “The Return of the Condor Heroes.” In recent years, she has received renewed acclaim for dramas such as “A Dream of Splendor,” “Meet Yourself” and “The Tale of Rose.”
