sports desk : Southern Super Stars won the title of Legends League Cricket 2024. Southern Super Stars won the title by defeating Konark Surya Odisha in the Super Over. The LLC final was played at Srinagar Bakshi Stadium. Where the number of spectators was more than 30 thousand. Apart from this, thousands of people kept waiting outside the stadium.

During the match, Konark's all-rounder Yusuf Pathan's bat roared fiercely but could not succeed in leading his team to victory. Kedar Jadhav's team Southern Super Stars won the final match. Southern batted first and scored 164 runs. In reply, Konark team also scored 164 runs at the loss of 9 wickets and drew the match.

After Odisha won the toss and decided to bowl, Srivatsa Goswami and Martin Guptill opened the innings for Southern Superstars. Guptill and Hamilton Maskadja made a partnership of 76 runs for the second wicket.

Maskadja and Pawan Negi made a partnership of 68 runs for the third wicket. Maskadja scored 83 runs in 58 balls. Negi contributed 33 runs in 24 balls as Southern Superstars scored 164 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. Dilshan Munaweera took four wickets for nine runs for Konark Suryas Odisha.

Chasing this target, Konark Suryas Odisha needed two runs in the last ball but Yusuf Pathan was run out after scoring one run. He scored 85 runs in 38 balls. For Southern Superstars, Hamid Hasan, Abdur Razzaq, Chaturanga de Silva and Pawan Negi took two wickets each.
