Tata Motors has started the year 2026 with a huge international success. The company’s Indonesian subsidiary PT Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia has received its biggest order ever. Under this agreement, Tata Motors will supply 70,000 commercial vehicles, which will further strengthen Indonesia’s rural economy and agriculture-related logistics.
Which vehicles will be provided?
The large order includes two popular commercial vehicles from Tata Motors. This includes 35,000 units of the Tata Yodha pick-up and 35,000 units of the Tata Ultra T.7 truck, for a total of 70,000 vehicles to be distributed in different parts of Indonesia in phases.

Where and for what will these vehicles be used?
These vehicles will be used by Indonesian state-owned company PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara. The objective of this initiative is to facilitate transportation of agricultural produce, speedy transport from villages to markets and mandis, strengthening rural logistics and strengthening food security of the country.
These vehicles will be given to rural cooperatives especially under national projects like Koperasi Desa and Kelurahan Merah Putih Project, which will boost connectivity of villages and also boost employment generation.
