In a post on X, JD Vance said, “It is an incredible honor to take the oath of office as the 50th Vice President of the United States. I look forward to working with President Trump to serve the American people. Let’s Make America Great Again!”

JD Vance, a 40-year-old former senator from Ohio, has become America's first millennial Vice President. However, one special person stole the spotlight from her and President Donald Trump at their swearing-in ceremony inside the US Capitol Rotunda on Monday.
Wearing bandages on the fingers of famous cartoon characters Scooby-Doo and Bluey and a red cape coat reminiscent of Little Red Riding Hood, the new Vice President's three-year-old daughter Mirabelle attracted everyone's attention.
Mirabel is the youngest of the Vice President's three children. His eldest son is seven-year-old Evan Blain and his second son is four-year-old Vivek.

All three children came to the swearing-in ceremony with their parents. The boys were wearing matching blue suits and ties.
Indian-American lawyer Usha Vance has become the first Indian-American Second Lady of the United States. She is the daughter of Indian immigrants, with roots in Andhra Pradesh. Born and brought up in America, Usha completed her education from prestigious institutions like Cambridge and Yale University. People burst crackers and celebrated in Vadaluru village in Andhra Pradesh as JD Vance took over as the 50th US Vice President. His wife Usha Vance is a native of this place.
