Why did Shri Krishna fight despite being God? Premanand Ji Maharaj told the secret of courage of Kansa and Kauravas
Shri Krishna Leela: People often think that if Lord Krishna is the Lord of the three worlds and the Supreme Lord himself, then how did unrighteous persons like Kansa and Kauravas dare to challenge him? Saint Shri Premanand Ji Maharaj has explained the answer to this deep question in a very simple and spiritual manner. According to him, all this is God’s ‘auspicious divine play’. It is an integral part of all and understanding it in its true form is the essence of true intelligence.
My dear Atman, Radha-Radha
Premanand Ji Maharaj says, “My dear soul Radha, Radha.” This form of address is not just a word but, it is a bridge of love connecting the devotee and God. He explains that every play of God is like a heavenly drama, in which each character is selected by God himself.
Leela’s stage and the role of villains
Just as to make a film interesting it is essential to have a powerful hero as well as a powerful villain, similarly characters like Kansa, Ravana and Kauravas play an equally important role in God’s Leela. Maharaj ji says that these are no ordinary creatures; Rather, these are God’s own divine counselors, who assume the role of the villain in order to bring the Leela to its complete conclusion. Precisely for this reason, they have the audacity to oppose God.
Did God need to make war?
An important question arises here: Was it really necessary for Almighty God to wage war in order to kill someone? According to Maharaj Ji, God can accomplish anything with just one divine resolution. If they wanted, they could have ended the tyrant Kansa the moment he was about to kill Devaki. But, God chooses not to do so. On the contrary, they provide power to their enemies and then create their own play with them. For them, defeating these monsters is as easy as crushing an ant.
Ranchod is also a part of Leela
Every form and every name of the Lord is an integral part of His pastimes. Even “Ranchod” Name is also a component of His divine plan, which works to connect us with His various divine pastimes.
the simplest path of devotion
Maharaj Ji explains that simply listening to the divine pastimes of God is the easiest path of devotion. There are countless examples where people attained salvation simply by listening to the divine tales of God. Therefore, he urges us to give up all our doubts and immerse ourselves in the nectar of God’s pastimes.
Understanding Leela is true knowledge
The glory of God is infinite, and there is a deep meaning hidden within each of His divine pastimes. If we chant His holy name with unwavering devotion and listen to His divine stories, the ultimate spiritual well-being of our lives becomes a realized reality.
