Maulana misinterpreted a verse in the Gita
In his statement Maulana misinterpreted this verse from Bhagavad Gita. Actually, this is the tenth verse of the sixth chapter of the Bhagavad Gita. The true meaning of this verse is: “It is the duty of a righteous person to constantly devote his mind, body and soul to the Lord. He should live alone in a secluded place and free himself from all desires and attachments by controlling his mind and senses.” There is no mention of prayer or Islam anywhere in this verse.
Maulana, withdraw your baseless and nonsensical statements

I appeal to the government to take appropriate legal action against him.” It has been warned.
