Lottery held for farmers of UP! Government gave great news

Lucknow. The new year 2026 is bringing good news for the farmers of Uttar Pradesh. The state government has started the Tractor Subsidy Scheme with the aim of making the Scheduled Caste (SC) category farmers economically stronger. Under this scheme, eligible farmers will be given financial assistance of up to Rs 3 lakh on purchasing tractors. The government believes that this will reduce the cost of farming and increase the use of modern machines in agricultural work.

The entire planning will be done through digital process

This scheme has been kept completely online, so that farmers do not have to visit offices and there is no scope for any kind of brokerage or irregularity. The application process has started and its last date has been fixed as 15 January 2026. The government has made it clear that no application will be considered after the stipulated time, hence it is important for interested farmers to apply on time.

Where and how to apply

Application for Tractor Grant Scheme can be made only through agriculture.up.gov.in portal. Farmers can fill the form sitting at home through mobile or computer. Verification from Aadhaar and mobile number will be mandatory during application. All the necessary documents will have to be scanned and uploaded on the portal. The Agriculture Department has advised farmers not to wait for the last days, as there may be problems in the application due to server or internet problems.

How will the selection process be?

After the application, the beneficiaries will be selected by the District Level Executive Committee. This committee will be headed by the Deputy Commissioner of the district. During the selection process, a thorough investigation of the farmer’s eligibility, caste certificate, land documents and farming status will be done. Only those farmers who fulfill all the conditions will get the benefit of the scheme. The government claims that the entire process will be completed in a transparent manner.

What is the most important document

The accountant’s report has been considered the most important document for this scheme. This report will be prepared on the proforma prescribed by the Agriculture Department, in which information related to the farmer’s land, farming status, Scheduled Caste certificate and family will be recorded. It is mandatory to upload this report along with the online application. Without this the application will be considered incomplete.
