A wedding ceremony in Bihar’s Buxar district turned into a horrific incident when the bride was shot on the stage of Jaimal. The matter is of Mallah Toli located in Chausa Nagar Panchayat of Mufassil police station area, where amid the happiness, suddenly there was chaos due to the sound of gunshots. According to eyewitnesses, the Jaimala ritual was going on and the bride and groom were present on the stage. Meanwhile, a young man suddenly climbed the stage and fired at the bride. As soon as the bullet was fired, the bride fell on the stage, causing a stampede on the spot.
The procession had come from Uttar Pradesh
According to the information, the procession had reached Chausa from Sulemanpur village of Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. A large number of relatives and villagers were present at the ceremony. This sudden incident during the Jaimala program spread sensation in the entire area.
The injured bride has been identified as 18-year-old Aarti Kumari. Immediately after the incident, the accused youth fled from the spot. It is being told that the accused is a neighbor of the bride and the matter may be related to an alleged love affair. However, the police have not yet officially confirmed in this regard.
Referred to Varanasi in critical condition
With the help of family members and local people, the injured bride was immediately taken to Buxar Sadar Hospital. After first aid, seeing his serious condition, the doctors referred him to Varanasi for better treatment.
According to doctors, the bullet has hit a sensitive part of the body, due to which the situation remains critical. The family members are present in the hospital and are deeply worried about the health of the bride.
Police raid continues
As soon as information about the incident was received, Mufassil police station reached the spot and started investigation. Evidence has been collected from the spot and people nearby are being interrogated. Police say that continuous raids are being conducted to arrest the absconding accused and he will be caught soon. Officials also said that all aspects of the case are being investigated so that the real reason behind the incident can be revealed.
