LPG Cylinder Booking Rules: Amidst the tension in the Middle East, the Government of India has taken a big decision on Monday. According to which, now you will not be able to book LPG cylinder before 25 days, till now this time has been till 21 days. The government has taken this decision to stop hoarding. These days, there is a situation of tension in the Middle East, due to which people have started panic buying. Although the officials had clarified that there is sufficient stock of LPG in the country, yet fear remained among the people, due to which the government had to take this decision.

The Center has taken this decision after the Government of India had received signals of panic buying in the market amidst the uncertainties arising due to the US, Israel-Iran war. As soon as the war started, there was a fear among the people. Because of which people started hoarding. During this period, bookings increased by about 20 percent.

On average, 7-8 cylinders are required in a year.

Regarding LPG gas cylinders, government officials said that sufficient supply is available in the country. To prevent hoarding, the time for booking LPG cylinders has been extended. Which was earlier 21 days. Now it has been increased from 21 to 25 days. Because gas cylinder bookings have increased rapidly in the last few days. Apart from this, he said that an average family uses 7-8 LPG cylinders of 14.2 kg in a year. There is no need to refill less often in a week.

Price of petrol and diesel will not increase

Apart from this, officials said that even though the rates of crude oil have increased rapidly in the international market, despite this the prices of petrol and diesel will not be increased. Oil companies have earned good profits this year. Companies will bear the pressure of this tension. That means it will not have any impact on the common man.
