What answer did the government give regarding the delivery of gas cylinders?

Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has once again made it clear that there is no shortage of LPG Gas in the country. However, he admitted that LPG gas delivery is taking a little more time than before. Sujata Sharma said that ‘there has been a slight delay in the delivery of the cylinder as compared to earlier. Whereas earlier cylinders used to be delivered in 2-3 days, now it may take 4-5 days because now panic bookings have become very high. He also said that, we hope that the system will be back to normal soon.

…So will the cylinder be available late?

Make it clear that according to the government, there is no problem in gas booking nor is there any shortage of LPG gas in the country. Therefore you can book gas after 25 days in urban areas and after 45 days in rural areas. At the same time, it has been told by the government that now the delivery of cylinders is taking place with a slight delay as compared to earlier, which may take 4-5 days. Therefore, it is possible that you may get the cylinder within such a few days.

OTP is necessary

Now OTP has been made mandatory for delivery of LPG gas cylinder.

While taking delivery of gas cylinder, you have to tell OTP to the delivery boy.
