New Delhi.
The Central Government has rejected the fake news spreading regarding change in the deadline for booking LPG gas cylinders. The Petroleum Ministry has clarified that the government has not made any changes in the booking rules and the existing system is applicable.
According to the ministry, some media reports and social media posts were claiming that a new deadline of 45 days for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) connections, 25 days for non-PMUY single cylinder and 35 days for double cylinder has been implemented.
